The process of publishing a book is not what I had expected. After working on this book for 6 long years it is finally going to be a reality! Have you ever felt that kind of excitement? Have you wondered what it would be like to have the thing you have wanted most in your life? So many times we spend too much time thinking about all the things we don't have in our lives. And all the things we wish we had. Maybe even a little jealousy that someone else has things we wish we had. There's nothing wrong with the desire for something.
The brilliant thing in your desire is that it comes pre-packaged with the ability to realize it. Your desire actually desires you! How marvelous is that? That changes the whole energy around what you desire, doesn't it? If you knew that your desire was not something frivolous or not worthy of becoming a reality wouldn't that be a powerful thought to get things moving in the direction of what you want.
Happy Sexy Money brings you into this awareness that your desires already desire you and takes you through the process of seeing them arrive and unfold in your life. Whatever you desire, no matter what area of life it is, brings a powerful, delightful energy with it. Writing this book was my dream come true. I can help you make yours come true too.

Awakening
For the last few years my business, Everyday Oasis, has been closed as I took over the responsibility of caring for my husband's aging parents. His mom passed away suddenly and his father came to live with us here in Colorado from Albuquerque, New Mexico. His father was in the later stages of Alzheimer's disease and needed 24/7 care. His care became my full-time responsibility. The sheer overwhelming nature of taking care of a 91 year-old man with Alzheimer's was something I was not prepared for. However, the blessing of opening my arms and my heart to something completely unknown were life altering. He passed away earlier this year but his legacy of transformation remains and my hope is that my story will guide others to their own transformation.
The greatest wonders have opened up for me during these last few years and it is my great pleasure to announce the launch of my first book, Happy Sexy Money, in October 2012. This book is the autobiographical account of my own transformation from a very unhappy, underpaid, unappreciated, and overwhelmed wife and mother to the very happy, joyous, living-life-large woman who asked a question and got a Happy Sexy Money kind of life. What is your biggest struggle in life? I can help you with that.

Something more
We want so desperately to believe that there is something more to life; something beyond our touch, beyond our system of beliefs that keep us stuck doing the same things over and over again while at the same time swearing that we want to change. We grasp hold of this idea that there is more, more wonder, more spiritual knowing, more awe, and especially more experiences of unconditional, non-judgmental love beyond measure. Yet we are surrounded by the miracles of this love every moment of every day and we see only the same ole same ole. We are blind to the very wonder we seek. We are ready to give up everything for what we seek only to find that we have it already. We simply choose in every moment to look the other way. We look at our day-to-day lives as if they are simply a symphony of blistering notes that remind us of what we lack, what we are not good at, what mistakes we’ve made, and what a loser we really are. We are deaf to the wonderous melody that plays in the background of every incident, encounter, and moment of opportunity; the beautiful, awe inspiring music of the miraculous weaves the threads of our lives into and around one another so that our music is their music and we are one with all there is.
It is no wonder that we do not see the divine in every act and every scene for we have been taught to pick, pick, pick, at the air with our finger to show that we are keeping score to see who is winning and who is losing when there is no scoreboard. We have been taught to gloss over everything and skim through the important so that we can get through it faster only to find that we missed the obvious, the miraculous staring us in the face. We have been taught to be only aware but not awake. What could we be if we stopped the wheel from spinning so fast into the abyss? We could be, really be, here and now without agenda, without doubt, without pretense, just be if for only a minute. For that would change the world for the moment. For that would change your mind and that would change your thoughts and that would change your words and that would change the world.
